The Challenge

Hello Yeti's mission is helping small businesses grow by connecting them with affordable expert talent, without the hassle of long-term contracts. That positioning creates a specific brand challenge: the platform needs to feel expert enough to be trusted by businesses serious about growth, and approachable enough that small business owners don't feel like they're buying something enterprise.

The identity had to carry both qualities simultaneously, and feel genuinely distinct rather than landing in the standard startup aesthetic.

The Engagement

Ghost Sherpa developed a complete visual identity system with a strong focus on digital positioning. The deliverable included a full suite of graphic resources built for versatility across the Hello Yeti platform and marketing channels: a brand mark with personality, a color and type system that holds up in digital contexts, and illustration and graphic elements designed to generate warmth and closeness without sacrificing professionalism.

The system was built to scale with the brand, not just launch it. Everything was designed so the Hello Yeti team could extend it themselves without losing coherence.

Why this matters for you

Brand identity for a platform isn't just about how it looks. It's about what it immediately communicates.

Talent platforms, marketplaces, and service businesses operate in competitive categories where most brands look the same: clean, blue, corporate, safe. Brands that build something with genuine personality earn trust faster because they feel like a real point of view rather than a category placeholder.

Ghost Sherpa's brand and identity teams build from the positioning outward, starting with what a brand needs to communicate before making decisions about how it should look. The visual system follows the strategic logic, not the other way around.
